Mineola City Council

Mineola City Council is made up of six elected aldermen (two representing each of the three wards of Mineola) and an elected Mayor. Those serving currently are Mayor Jayne Lankford; Ward 1 Council Members Terry Eaton and Sue Jones (Mayor Pro-Tem); Ward 2 Council Members Jack Newman and Eric Carrington; Ward 3 Council Members Cassandra Sampson and Mitchell Tuck.

City Council Meetings

You are encouraged to visit with the City Manager or her designee to determine if your concern, complaint, or suggestion can be given attention before being placed on the agenda.

The City Council will not take action but may refer the item to staff for research and follow-up, may refer the citizen to the appropriate department or schedule the item for a future agenda.

City Council Meetings are held at City Hall in the Council Chambers every fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. City facility is handicapped accessible and handicapped accessible parking spaces are available.
