Mineola, Texas— At the May 19th City Council meeting, familiar faces were officially sworn in to continue serving the community. Mayor Jayne Lankford, along with Council Members Terry Eaton (Ward 1) and Jack Newman (Ward 2), took their oaths of office after being re-elected to new two-year terms.
Mitchell Tuck (Ward 3), who was also re-elected, is scheduled to be sworn in at the next City Council meeting due to scheduling conflicts.
The ceremony marked the continuation of leadership that residents have come to know over recent years.
