Today marks the first day to apply for a place on the ballot for the City of Mineola General Election.
The City of Mineola is now accepting applications for the following positions:
Alderman, Ward 1
Alderman, Ward 2
Alderman, Ward 3
This is an opportunity for residents who are passionate about serving the community and helping shape the future of Mineola to take part in local government.
The application period ends February 13 at 5:00 p.m. All applications must be submitted by the deadline to be considered.
The General Election will be held on May 2, 2026.
