MINEOLA, TX — The City of Mineola is excited to announce the official release of the 2026 Mini Train schedule at Iron Horse Square, with rides running from April through September and a variety of special themed runs planned throughout the year.

A beloved attraction for both residents and visitors, the Mineola Mini Train offers free rides and family-friendly fun in the heart of downtown. This year’s schedule includes returning favorites like the Easter Train, Fiesta Train, and Watermelon Festival Train, along with unique themed experiences such as the America 250 Train and Hot Wheels Train. Seasonal favorites—including the Pumpkin Patch, Halloween, and Christmas-themed rides—will round out the year with festive flair.

Regular rides will generally take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the spring and early season, with summer hours shifting earlier in the day. Special event rides will be offered at various times, including evening runs during the fall and holiday season.

The City extends its sincere appreciation to the dedicated volunteers who make the Mini Train possible. Their time, effort, and enthusiasm ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every rider. Special thanks are also extended to the Landmark Commission for their continued support and commitment to preserving and enhancing this treasured community feature.

The Mini Train is located at Iron Horse Square, 200 W. Front Street in Mineola. While rides are free to the public, they are weather-dependent and may be suspended during inclement conditions or extreme heat for the safety of passengers and staff.
