City Hall Holiday Closure & Christmas Wishes

The Mayor, City Council, and City Staff would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, December 24th, and Thursday, December 25th, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

Water bill payments may still be made during this time by using the night drop, online payment system, or the mobile app.

We wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and blessed holiday season.

2025 Holiday Trash Schedule – Important Notice
Trash service for Mineola customers (Republic Services) will run one day later than normal during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Christmas Schedule:
Normal Thursday pickup → Friday, December 26
Normal Friday pickup → Saturday, December 27

New Year’s Schedule:
Normal Thursday pickup → Friday, January 2
Normal Friday pickup → Saturday, January 3

Please place your carts out by your regular pickup time on your adjusted service day.

All aboard the Santa Train at Iron Horse Square! Bring the kids and family to enjoy a magical ride where Santa Claus himself will be spreading holiday cheer.
Take a festive train ride filled with twinkling lights, holiday spirit, and a special chance to meet Santa for photos and holiday wishes.

🕒 Train runs continuously from 4–7 PM

Please note that all City of Mineola offices will close at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 19 to allow staff to attend the annual City Christmas Party. Utility payments can be made online or dropped in the drop box.
