City Council Meeting Update
Due to anticipated winter weather, the City Council meeting scheduled for Monday has been canceled. The meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 29th at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. We appreciate your understanding and encourage everyone to stay safe during inclement weather.

Freezing temperatures are expected, and the City of Mineola encourages residents and businesses to prepare now to protect plumbing and prevent damage.
Please remember to:
Turn off and drain sprinkler systems
Know where your main water shut-off valve is located
Insulate exposed pipes and seal drafts
Let faucets drip during prolonged freezing temperatures
If pipes freeze, shut off the water immediately and thaw using warm air only. Taking these steps now can help avoid costly repairs. Stay safe and stay warm. Continue to monitor City of Mineola updates for weather-related information.
