JOB SUMMARY: Utility Billing Clerk/Customer Service Full-Time DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the City Secretary, the Utility Billing Clerk/Customer Service Representative is responsible for efficiently managing customer inquiries, processing payments, and performing various administrative tasks for the Water Department, and other city departments as required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide courteous and effective customer service in person, over the phone, and in writing. Address customer inquiries regarding utility accounts, services, and city departments. Processes utility payments and manage cash receipts. Handle connect and disconnect orders for water and wastewater services. Operate computer systems for billing and data management. Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. Assist in routine accounting functions. Perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting, and document retrieval.
