The life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be celebrated in Mineola on the day he is honored across the nation Monday, Jan. 20. The Mineola Ministerial Alliance will host a Unity in Our Community service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 304 Stone St. Cody Mize will be the guest speaker. He serves as superintendent of Mineola schools as well as pastor of Cartwright Baptist Church.
