The Mineola Police Department is actively participating in the statewide "Click It or Ticket" enforcement campaign. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is intensifying seat belt enforcement through its annual "Click It or Ticket" campaign, which runs from May 19 to June 1, 2025. This initiative coincides with the Memorial Day holiday, a peak travel period, and is part of the broader All-American enforcement campaign by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The campaign aims to reduce these numbers by encouraging all occupants to wear seat belts at all times.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Mineola Police Department for their commitment to keeping our city safe. Your service is the backbone of our community, and we thank you for all that you do.
We also pause to solemnly remember the law enforcement officers across the nation who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage will never be forgotten, and their legacy lives on in the communities they gave everything to protect.

Welcome to the Spring Sensation 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon!
- free photos
- course through beautiful nature preserve on railbed trail
(~25% paved, 75% hard packed gravel/dirt)
- 5k is out and back in Mineola Nature Preserve
- 10k is the 5k course repeated twice
- 15k is the 5k course repeats three times
- half marathon is 4.36 miles repeated three times
- medals for all participants, no shirts to keep costs low

Important Update: Water Bill Format Change
As part of our recent software transition, we have updated the format of our water bills. Water bills will no longer be delivered as postcards. Instead, they will now arrive in a sealed envelope as a letter.
This change helps us improve security and privacy while allowing for a more detailed bill format.

From rescuing lost pets to ensuring the safety of our neighborhoods, these officers handle every call with care and professionalism. They work tirelessly—rain or shine—to protect both animals and people!
