Municipal Court

Municipal Court services allow community members who have been cited into Municipal Court for violations of the City’s traffic, criminal or parking laws to have an opportunity to be heard by an impartial Judge. Municipal Court staff provide customer service, schedules court arraignments and trials, and tracks bail and fine payments. Municipal Court staff provide information to customers regarding court processes and procedures by telephone and on a walk-in basis. 

 

The Municipal Court is located at 300 Greenville Highway (US 69) inside the City of Mineola Complex Building. The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over all Class C misdemeanors, such as traffic violations, some penal code violations and violations of the City of Mineola Code of Ordinances.  

 

You are required to appear or make contact with the court no later than 10 days from date of citation. 

 

Vulnerable Populations Notice: Individuals who are over age 65 and individuals with serious underlying health conditions, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, and those whose immune system are compromised such as by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy are considered to be vulnerable populations. Please contact the court at 903-569-6603 if you need accommodations.
