Celtic Christmas - Select Theater

On North Johnson Street from 2-9:30pm. 

Welcome to a very special event put on for the first time by the Historic Select Theater and Lake Country Playhouse!  A Celtic Christmas is a celebration of the holidays with a spotlight on the Scottish, Irish, and Welsh heritage!  Here's the scoop...

At 2PM the north end of Johnson Street opens up with vendors, and games, and even roasting of smores!  It is FREE to attend this portion of the event and you may purchase gifts or other items as you like.

Also at this same time our interactive snow ball arena opens in the back of the Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe (117 N. Johnson).  Children 12yrs and under may join in the fun for free and have a snow ball fight with a couple crazy elves!   The arena will remain open until 9PM.

And at 3PM - Celtic Santa will also be available near the snow ball arena to meet and greet and take pics with the kids, also for free.  He will be available until 7PM.

At 7PM the big show begins in the Historic Select Theater!  The show will feature an incredible line up of performers including the following:

Paul Watson - Bagpiper,  Jack Dingler - Musician and traditional singer,  Wild Rose Tribal & The Twilight Troupe - Celtic Dancers, Nat Hart - Bagpiper,  Roy Shockey and Jefferson Lowtower - Traditional musicians and singers,  Red River Pipes & Drums Band - An amazing group of musicians and singers!

All these performers come together in the end for a wonderful finale you will remember for years to come!  PLUS - Celtic Santa will be there during intermission and after the show to meet the kids!  Tickets for this show are just $12!

The cool thing is, you can participate in all the above and still catch the annual Mineola Christmas Parade at 6PM!  It's going to be a truly magical day and we want to spend it with you!
