The Historic Select Theater 104th Birthday Celebration and Fund Raiser!
Come join us for a special event at The Historic Select Theater in Mineola, Texas. We're celebrating the theater's 104th birthday with a fun-filled evening of festivities. Don't miss out on the excitement!
Located at 114 North Johnson Street, our historic theater is ready for this milestone celebration. Join us as we commemorate over a century of entertainment and community spirit.
There will be plenty of entertainment throughout the evening, including live music by Kim Ewing, (who can really lay down those easy listening, soft rock tunes!) , and screenings of two short films.
The first short feature is "Journey to a Distant Bridge" which was made by one of our "alumni" - Skylar Mitchell, telling his story and his involvement with theater, etc. The Second is called "The Pride of Mineola" and it is a documentary about the founding and operation of this theater! Both films will be followed by a short Q&A.
Plus, indulge in delicious food and drinks from our concession stand along with some special surprises prepared just for the occasion. It's a great opportunity to support the theater while having a blast!
